Naya Shakti drives for people’s dialogue

Naya Shakti Party Coordinator and former Prime Minsiter Dr Baburam Bhattarai has embarked on his campaign for people’s dialogue.

Dr Bhattarai inaugurated a month-long drive for people’s dialogue amidst a programme at Chiwabhanjyang of Panchthar district along the Nepal-India border side on Tuesday.

The people’s dialogue journey kicked off from Chiwabhanjyang in the east will conclude at Julaghat checkpoint in Baitadi of Sudurpaschim province.

It is shared that the party will also hold discussions and interactions with citizens and people’s representatives along several touristic and commercial hubs located along the Mid-Hill Highway in course of the journey.

On the occasion, Dr Bhattarai said the campaign was associated to the prosperity of the country. “This is the shared agenda rather not of his party alone”, Dr Bhattarai added.

He claimed that the journey along the Mid-Hill Highway will prepare the formula for country’s prosperity.
Under the theme ‘People’s dialogue for sound politics and inclusive development’, the campaign will have programmes in 90 places of 27 districts, shared Naya Shakti Party Taplejung Coordinator Sabin Baniya.

Snow disrupts air service in Humla

Flight service to and from Simkot airport has been disrupted following heavy snowfall in Humla. However, the District Administration Office took the initiative to remove the snow piled up in the Simkot airport.
